    Project Description

    Mode : Project in P3 Mode/Design-construction component
    Value : $ 360M
    Responsibilities :

    • Complete mastery of the functional and technical program (ftp) and performance specs of projects defined in the Partnership Agreement;
    • Close participation in the definition and follow-up of all construction work packages and coordination with the consultants and suppliers;
    • On-site design management of professional teams for each discipline and specialty including code studies, architecture, structural, M-E engineering, acoustics, vibration, envelope and coordination of some 12,500 lab and medical equipment;
    • Coordination of design with the Interface Agreement requirements and with the facility management team (OM and LCC);
    • Close coordination with construction crews and respect of site constraints (availability of timely required construction documents);
    • Respect deadlines for Submittal Reviews to the client at each of Schematic Design (SD) / Design Development (DD) / Construction Documentation (CD) phases;
    • Respect milestones for payments, confirmed by an Independent Certifier (P3 project);

     

    The project was completed three months in advance and within the $360 M cost.

    Project Description

    Responsibilities :

    • Planning and definition of all construction packages, on-site management of the project’s design, procurement and construction activities;
    • Management and follow-up of all contracts: Consultants’; Testing and QC Labs’; and Civil Work Contractors’;
    • In collaboration with the STO’s Project Manager editing files and obtaining mandatory environmental certificates of authorization;
    • Preparation of all tender documents, analysis of answers as a member of selection committees, recommendations to Client and related tasks;
    • Preparation of overall, detailed, project’s schedule and budget, in collaboration with the Client;

    Senior Director – Business Development 

    (2012-2015)

    Responsibilities

    Responsibility extended to all Pomerleau activities across Canada (Atlantic Provinces, Quebec, Ontario and expansion to the Western provinces):

    Set-up and management of an expert team dedicated to the preparation of Pomerleau’s responses to pre-qualification tenders (RFQ) and proposals (RFP).

    Quality of these responses requires superior knowledge and full understanding of all work and methodologies associated with each type of contractual agreements and extensive coordinating skills of Team members.
